1. Information We Collect

When you create a LynkDeck account or use our service, we may collect:

• Account information — email address, display name, username, and password (hashed)
• Profile content — bio, profile photo, cover image, and any links or cards you publish
• Lead data — names, emails, phone numbers, and messages submitted through your lead capture cards by your visitors
• Analytics data — page views, card clicks, visitor locations (country/city level), referral sources, and device type
• Payment information — billing details processed securely by Stripe (we never store raw card numbers)
• Usage data — how you interact with our editor, features you use, and session logs

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Display your public deck to visitors
• Deliver analytics and performance reports for your decks
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts)
• Respond to support requests
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Improve and develop new platform features

We do not use your content to train AI models or sell it to advertisers.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure with:

• Encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+)
• Row-level security policies restricting data access by user
• Automated daily backups
• No shared credentials between accounts

4. Cookies and Tracking

LynkDeck uses the following types of cookies:

• Essential cookies — required for authentication and session management. Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies — used to measure how visitors interact with your public deck. Anonymized and aggregated.

You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings. This will not affect your ability to use the platform.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate LynkDeck:

• Supabase — authentication and database storage
• Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions
• Vercel — platform hosting, CDN, and edge delivery

Each service has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only:

• With service providers listed above, strictly to operate the platform
• To comply with a valid legal obligation, court order, or government request
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of LynkDeck, our users, or the public

Your public deck content is visible to anyone with your deck URL. Unpublished decks and private data are never publicly accessible.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Correction — update or correct inaccurate information via your account settings
• Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — export your deck content and analytics data
• Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
• Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer (e.g., billing records retained for 7 years for tax compliance).

9. Children's Privacy

LynkDeck is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately at privacy@lynkdeck.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of LynkDeck after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
