Request Account & Data Deletion

You have the right to request permanent deletion of your LynkDeck account and all associated personal data. This page explains how to submit a request and what happens when we process it.

What gets deleted

Your account and login credentials

Your profile — name, bio, avatar, cover image

All decks and card content you created

Lead data collected through your deck forms

Analytics history associated with your account

Stored media files (images, uploads)

Subscription and billing contact details (payment records retained per tax law — see below)

Any API tokens or integrations linked to your account

What we are required to retain

Certain data must be retained by law even after a deletion request:

Billing and transaction records — retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance

Fraud prevention logs — retained for up to 2 years per our anti-abuse obligations

Legal hold data — if required by court order or regulatory request

Retained records are isolated, not used for any operational purpose, and deleted as soon as the legal retention period ends.

How to delete your account

A

Self-serve (fastest)

If you have access to your account, you can delete it directly from your settings:

  1. Log in at lynkdeck.com/login
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section
  4. Click Delete my account and confirm

Your account and all data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

B

Email request

If you can't access your account, email us a deletion request. Include:

  • The email address on your LynkDeck account
  • Your LynkDeck username (if known)
  • Subject line: Data Deletion Request

Timeline

Confirmation

We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days.

Processing

All personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmation.

Completion

You will receive a final confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Third-party login (Facebook, Google)

If you signed up using Facebook or Google, deleting your LynkDeck account does not revoke permissions from those platforms. To revoke:

  • Facebook:Settings & Privacy → Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites → Remove LynkDeck
  • Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access → Remove LynkDeck
